Doolin, County Clare is today one of the most famous Irish traditional music centres in Ireland. Over the years pubs such as O'Connors, McGanns and McDermotts have held some of the best Irish music sessions to be found anywhere. This probably started in earnest in the 1960s when the Russell Brothers, Micho, Pakie and Gussie played a major role in putting Doolin on the music map. However the history of Doolin goes way back beyond this and in these WebPages you will find an overview of some of this history as well as details covering Doolin today. Also, please feel free to contact us with your comments, and any info you think we should include.
